How do I create an account?
You will need to download the Golmar Gcloud application. Once you have downloaded and launched it, go to START. If this is your first time accessing it, you will need to create an account. Enter your registration details and confirm your registration via email. You can now access Golmar GCloud!
How to answer a call and open the door
To answer a call, you must first accept it, which will allow you to preview who is at the door. If you wish to speak, press the green handset icon to establish communication. Press the key icon to open the main door or the second door on the panel. Note that your panel may not have a second door. To hang up, press the red handset icon.
How to open the door from the app without being called
You can directly open the door by clicking on the door key next to each of the accesses. You can open the main door or the second door. Note that it could be that your panel does not have a second door.
How to preview the panel camera without being called
To preview who is in front of your door entry panel, tap directly on the panel icon. Each panel will activate the image of its corresponding access. Note that this feature may be disabled by your community or building manager regulations.
How to call the guard unit
If your building has a security guard, you will see an icon labelled "Guard." Tap this icon to initiate a call to the concierge.
How do I activate Do Not Disturb?
Go to the Info section and tap the "Do Not Disturb" icon. Activate this mode. The app will then stop ringing. An icon on the home screen will remind you that you have activated this mode.
How do I create access credentials to open the door?
If the community or the administrator has enabled access management, you can create virtual credentials. There are different types of access credentials. Virtual credentials can be PIN-based or QR code-based. Some entry panels can also grant access via face recognition. If you cannot access this section, you will need to request the credentials from the administrator or request RFID key fobs or cards.
Access your home settings by tapping the gear icon. Then, go to the "Access Credential Management" option. Choose the type of credential you wish to create. You will need to set a name and a number of uses or validity period.
SHARING MY HOME
How can I share my home with family members or others, so they can also use the video intercom and receive calls from my home?
You can share your app with family members or people who may need to receive calls from your home or have access to your home. To do this, you must first ask them to download the Golmar Gcloud app (available on iOS and Android) and create an account and log in.
Once they have an account and have logged in, from your account's main page, tap the share icon. Add users by tapping the + symbol.
Enter the email address of the account of the person you want to share your home with, and tap the “Search” button. If everything is correct, you will find him, now you must confirm by tapping the “Share” icon. The other person will receive a request to be added to your home as an invite, which they must accept from their app.
How do I revoke the right to use my home when it's no longer needed?
You can review with who you've shared your home, and revoke their access at any time. Go to Info and tap the sharing icon. In this section, you can review who you're sharing homes with on Gcloud and revoke permission by tapping the bin icon.
I don't see the icon to share my home.
It's possible that your community or building manager's regulations restrict sharing your home with third parties. Contact your installer or building manager.
APPLICATION CUSTOMIZATION:
- How to adjust how the app notifies me calls.
Go to the Info section and then tap the "Call settings" option. You can choose whether you want your phone to ring or vibrate. You can also select a ringtone from the available options.
Can I edit the image and name displayed for my home?
Yes, by default the app will show you a standard image. Access your property settings by tapping the gear icon. Then go to "Site Name" and "Thumbnail Settings."
My community has many access panels, but I don't use some of them. Can I disable them, so they don't appear?
Yes, it's possible to simplify the access en that appear in the application. Access your home settings by tapping the gear icon. Then go to the "Available panels" option. In this section, you can enable the panels that will appear on your site's main page.
Can I customize the image displayed on the entry panel corresponding to my apartment?
If your building has a touchscreen panel, you can edit the image displayed next to your unit name. To do this, access your unit settings by tapping the gear icon. Then, go to "User Profile Settings." In this section, you can take a photo or upload an image from your gallery. This option may be restricted or removed due to building regulations or the building manager's policies.
COMMUNICATION WITH THE ADMINISTRATOR AND SUPPORT
How do I check administrator announcements?
The administrator can send private or general messages to residents, similar to a bulletin board. When a message is sent to you, you will receive a push notification. To check for pending messages, go to the Info section and then tap the "Site notices" option.
How can I contact Golmar for technical support when the application is behaving unusually?
Go to the Info section and then to "User Help". In this section, you will find help topics as well as a link to submit an application log, so we can understand your problem and assist you.
I can't preview the panel or I'm not receiving calls from the door entry panel.
There can be several reasons why calls aren't being received.
Internet outage: If the internet connection at the door entry panel has gone down, you'll notice this because the cloud icon next to the panel will be grey instead of orange, which indicates that it is missing the internet connection.
License not activated: If the license has not been activated or has expired, the panel will display an exclamation mark. Go to the Info section and tap on “License Status” to verify it. Contact your administrator if the license is shown as non-activated or expired.
Do Not Disturb mode: Check that Do Not Disturb mode is not turned on. You will find a crossed-out bell icon as a reminder that Do Not Disturb mode is active.
Missing permissions: Check that you have granted all permissions to the application.
